About Us

Innovation and Development Network (IDN), founded by Professor Jeong-Dong Lee, a Korean expert on policy and development, has been supported by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation and a number of Korean agencies since 2011.
Our mission is to share the lessons from the experience of the Korean economic development with developing countries. Recently the focus of international cooperation is shifting from the cooperation between the North and the South to the cooperation between the South and the South and/or triangular cooperation. Our mission perfectly fits with the current trend described above.
The rapid economic development experience of Korea in the last 50 years makes Korea as an excellent study object. Many developing countries know about the miracle of the Han River and they want to know the detailed information and data of the development of the Korean economy. We started to publish case studies on the Korean experiences and share with other developing countries from 2011.
